10 Apples Up On Top

September was apple time in room 10. We integrated apples into all subjects with a plethora of educational, but fun activities. 

{1} We did some graphing...

{2} After reading Dr. Seuss's Ten Apples Up On Top, we did some crafting...

{3} Gotta use all 5 of those senses, so we made applesauce...

{4} We made this playdough, which smells heavenly...

{5} Then we got our STEM groove on and did some apple stacking, using the scented playdough and apples from our school garden...

Have you noticed all of the great STEM stacking ideas out there? Here are a few more that I want to try. We just might have an excess of structural engineers in the 2020s!
