Pumpkin Patch/Giants/Freebies

Time for Five for Friday!
There has been SO much excitement around here lately. If you have enough stamina to make it to the end of this post, you will find some freebies!
{1}Pumpkin Patch
We have the cutest pumpkin patch in the world, and the sweetest people own and run it.
This week we had our field trip. We arrived early in the morning and had the place to ourselves.  The weather was awesome and look at the cute chalkboard they made to welcome us!
It's hard not to take pictures!
After a hay ride, we had a lesson in the cornfield classroom.
They have this cool corn box that just screams, "JUMP IN HERE!"...
...and hay mazes and tunnels.
After oodles of fun, we chose our pumpkins and headed back to school.

{2} World Series
Some were showing their bay area spirit at the pumpkin patch this week...
and others are showing it on their front porch.

  1. Hi Bren!
Looks like you had a fun week. When we lived in Snohomish, Washington our town had a pumpkin festival the whole month of October. We loved heading out to the pumpkin farm to get our pumpkins. Our favorite farm also had the corn pit, a favorite of my 2 kiddos. No pumpkin farms in the Bahamas but we can go to the grocery store to get them. So that's what we are doing this weekend before heading out to a pumpkin carving/decorating play date on Sunday. I love your pumpkin man craft. Going to do that with my 3 year old. Thanks! Have a great weekend!

  3. WOW what a well put together pumpkin patch business. SO kid friendly. Love the "corn pit" and the low walled maze. I bet you had a blast. I wish we had such a nice place here in Michigan. If anyone knows of one, let me know! Also loved the bat guided drawing. We're doing bats in the next week or two as part of our animal unit. Pinned! See you around. Kathleen

  4. I know. They've been doing it for years and it keeps getting better. I love that they keep it very farm oriented and avoid the inflatables:) Thanks for stopping by and have a great Halloween.
