Five for Friday/Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Chalkboard by my beautiful goddaughter

I was talking to a refi guy today on the phone and he said he remembers kindergarten and Valentine's Day as a day when everyone loved everyone, but unfortunately adulthood isn't quite the same. I told him to just hang onto that memory:)

This is just a quick post to say Happy Valentine's Day to you and enjoy the cuteness of kindergarten love below:)

{1} Our mail bags
Don't you just love kindergarten art?  I couldn't have done anything as beautiful if I tried!!!

{2} Valentine Kabobs
A yummy and somewhat healthy snack that was so fun to make!

{3} Loving the cuteness

{4} CVC Playdough Word Building
My kinders have become awesome at building CVC words with magnets, beads, letter tiles and playdough.
To keep track of their progress, I use these record sheets which we stamp or dot when they are successful. I have four levels (picture pages) of these CVC pictures and some of my students are already finishing up level 2...Woohoo! You can find the freebie sample of the record sheet with the pictures HERE. I used the generic version from THIS ONE and hand wrote "Playdough" on it. I found my lower case letter stamps (a little hard to find) HERE.

{5} T-Shirt of the Week
Love my kids!!!
Thanks again Casey!
